NOVATO — Tyler Johnson won all four of his matches at 152 pounds, three by pin, to lead the Lower Lake Trojans on Saturday at the Green and Gold Wrestling Tournament at San Marin High School in Novato.
Johnson won a 6-2 decision in the finals.
Three other Lower Lake wrestlers came in sixth. Brandon Pianchud, only a freshman, went 2-3 with one pin at 112 pounds, while Joseph Dingess won his final three matches at 130 pounds. Justin Harrison went 2-3 at 215 pounds.
“They looked good,” Lower Lake coach Ed Fuchs said. “It”s a young team, but they”re working hard on their moves and they”re getting better.”
