FORT BRAGG — Kelseyville”s transition game was hitting on all cylinders Friday night as the Knights beat Fort Bragg 52-32 in the winner”s semifinal round of the Fort Bragg Tournament for varsity girls” basketball teams.

Amanda Mueller, Monique Santana and Maille McCallister had eight points apiece for the Knights, who led 25-13 at halftime and 36-19 after three quarters.

In other girls” tournament action Friday:

Amador Valley 50, Lower Lake 44

Lower Lake missed a chance to tie the game late in the fourth quarter and fell to Amador Valley in the consolation semifinals of the McKinleyville Tournament.

Amador Valley pulled down an offensive rebound to earn a new shot clock and then hit a 3-pointer to make it a five-point game with two minutes left.

Tashee Denson led the Trojans with 14 points and six steals. Darlena White added 10 points, Veronica Wilder had nine and April White finished with eight points and seven rebounds.

Potter Valley 49, Upper Lake 37

A 15-5 second quarter propelled Potter Valley past Upper Lake in the consolation semifinal round of the Cloverdale Tournament.

“They turned up the pressure on us a little bit and we just didn”t handle it well,” Upper Lake coach Donnie Meri said.

Jackie Lovrin”s 12 points paced the Cougars.
