MIDDLETOWN — John-Wesley Davis scored 28 points for the second straight game and he also ended up with a double-double as the Middletown Mustangs held off the Cloverdale Eagles, 54-36, in a North Central League I interlock junior varsity boys” basketball game on Tuesday in Middletown.
Davis pulled down 10 rebounds to go along with his 28 points. Chris Oatman also had a double-double for the undefeated Mustangs (9-0) with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Also contributing to the win were Bo Sheffer with eight points and six assists, and Jacob Anderson with seven rebounds and two points.
