LOWER LAKE — The first game held in Lower Lake”s new gym went to the Trojans on Saturday night as they beat the St. Helena Saints 44-22 in a North Central League I interlock junior varsity girls” basketball contest.
Jonesha Beasley not only scored the first points by a Lower Lake player in the new gym, but she scored the first four en route to a team-leading 15-point night.
Shelby Zumwalt”s 10 points paced the Saints. Zumwalt hit a 3-pointer early in the game to become the first player to score in regulation play in the new gym.
