Record-Bee publisher Gary Dickson recently gave us a heads up concerning a video called Loose Change, one of numerous DVDs and books that question the official government story concerning 9/11.
Predictably, Dickson”s column resulted in expressions of outrage from those for whom mindless unquestioning acceptance of the blathering of authorities are apparently considered a virtue. There was even the suggestion of tarring and feathering for simply keeping an open mind and thinking for oneself.
Welcome to Lake County Mr. Dickson.
We often hear that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. I believe that Mr. Dickson was merely suggesting that we take a look and that we be vigilant.
One of the many troubling issues concerning the 9/11 events involves the mysterious collapse of Building 7 at the World Trade Center. Building 7 was a 47 story steel-framed skyscraper that collapsed straight down into its own footprint at around 5 PM on 9/11. Photos indicate that there were only small fires in the building which was not hit by a plane. Apparently no steel-framed structures have ever collapsed, anywhere, due to fire, except on 9/11, in which the two towers and Building 7 collapsed at near free-fall speed, completely to the ground.
Many people, even after seven plus years, do not know about Building 7 which went straight down and was completely destroyed. It appeared to be a controlled demolition. I urge anyone who has not seen the collapse to view it on the Internet or on a 9/11 video and judge for themselves.
The collapse of Building 7 was not even mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report. There is much more about 9/11 that is questionable.
The people who were critical of Mr. Dickson?s column made no mention of having watched the video or of reviewing related information. I suggest to those people that they watch the DVD. They may be surprised.
Of course, there are others in Lake County who keep an open mind and who think for themselves. My thanks to Mr. Dickson and the Record-Bee.
