LAKEPORT ? For five years the County of Lake has contracted with the Lakeport Regional Chamber of Commerce to design, construct and staff the County exhibit at the California State Fair.
To initiate preparations for the 2009 exhibit, the Chamber is holding a meeting on Thursday evening, January 29, 6 p.m., in the Community Room at Round Table Pizza in Lakeport.
A variety of skills are being sought to build the exhibit this year, very important among them, engineers who can assist with animation design requirements. If one has an interest in helping with the exhibit in any way, join the Chamber on January 29.
This new meeting time and location replaces the original meeting previously scheduled for tonight at the Community Room at Mendo-Lake Credit Union, 963 11th Street in Lakeport.
