KELSEYVILLE — Dustin Thaxton led the way with 21 points and Max Huff dropped in another 20 as the Kelseyville Knights edged the Lower Lake Trojans 61-57 in a North Central League I North junior varsity boys” basketball game on Friday in Kelseyville.
Marc MacDonald added 12 points and Devon Call had six for the Knights, who overcame a 25-9 Lower Lake lead. In fact, the Knight trailed 48-37 going into the final period.
“Not our best defensive game by any means,” Kelseyville coach Scott Mandeville said. “We were lazy and Lower Lake took advantage of it. They came out with better intensity than we did.”
