Ladies of the Lake seeks new members

LAKE COUNTY — Ladies of the Lake dance group is seeking new members. Diane Stawicki, producer for the Golden Follies Senior Dance Company and performer at the Soper Reese Community Theatre, can be contacted for enrollment details at 279-9545. An option available to members is taking classes either for fun or also to perform.

Playwriting contest welcomes entries

LAKE COUNTY — Lake County Theater Company (LCTC) is accepting entries for its Dreamcatcher playwriting contest. LCTC is accepting original scripts for full-length plays through March 15, 2009. Valentine”s Day murder mystery

LUCERNE — The Lucerne Booster Club and North Shore BusinessAssociation are organizing a one-day event to promote Lake County artists, hand crafters, local businesses and school organizations.
