MIDDLETOWN — The Middletown Mustangs are three games away from a perfect season.
Middletown High School”s junior varsity boys” basketball team improved to 17-0 with a 52-38 victory over the St. Helena Saints in North Central League I interlock action on Friday in Middletown. As usual, it was another balanced scoring effort by the Mustangs, who were led by John-Wesley Davis” 20 points, eight steals and seven rebounds. Bo Sheffer added 12 points, Jereomy Hoefer had 10, and Chris Oatman pulled down seven rebounds.
Middletown”s final three games are on the road beginning with tonight”s contest against Fort Bragg at 5:30 pm.
