Education like some other things in life is not just about the money. By combining districts money could be a positive but at the expense of what? There are exceptional and good programs that function based on a small student number and funding that is based on district size that could be lost. What these programs do is help those students that fall through the cracks in a traditional school setting in getting their G.E.D. or high school diplomas. I know there is a lot of issues concerning the consolidations of school districts, but do not forget when discussions and decisions are made about this topic that the interests of ALL students are taken into consideration.
