LOWER LAKE — Should you take in a comedy about a ghost on Valentine Weekend? Absolutely! Pictured here is a very unique kind of ghost. John Tomlinson is a handsome Continental Soldier from George Washington”s army and he is trapped in New York in the 1950s.

Falling in love with a modern girl who already has a fiance is only part of his problem, and the solution lies in history. Why is he trapped in the 1950s? What is keeping him out of heaven? Enter yet another suitor who is determined to solve the mystery and win the heart of our heroine.

Don”t miss this hilarious romp full of intrigue and off-beat romance brought to you by your Lake County Theatre Company. “Gramercy Ghost” opens this weekend in Weaver Auditorium at the Schoolhouse Museum in Lower Lake and runs 7 p.m. Feb. 13,14, 20 and 21 and 2 p.m. Feb. 15 and 22. Tickets are available at Catfish Books in Lakeport (263-4454), Clear Lake Chamber of Commerce in Clearlake (994-3600) and Shannon Ridge Tasting Room in Clearlake Oaks (998-9656). Prices are $14 for reserved and $12 for general seating, $2 less in each category for LCTC members, seniors and students. Tickets will also be available at the door.
