What with the sewage just now out of control in California and farmers (along with the rest of us) becoming desperate about the future of fresh water, tens of thousands of prisoners on the verge of early release from state prisons because of critical shortages in the state budget ? not to mention finances about to cause a massive teacher layoff ? what a time for Nadya Suleman (with her mother screaming, “That”s unconscionable!”) to come up with eight more (to add to six under eight at home; three of them, along with Nadya, on disability!) Am I the only one who finds “every child a wanted child” the most sacred of commitments?
