I”d like to know where Mr. Moeller got his information or was he just complaining to complain? He must really have a good memory. It has been many years since we had mail delivery twice a day and even more since we had Sunday mail. People are complaining about the high cost of delivery. Junk mail is the only thing paying the bills. Now every one is paying their bills online and e-mailing their friends.
We had monster catalogs long after WWII. It has only been the last 15 years that Sears and Montgomery Wards stopped sending them. We still receive J.C. Penney catalogs by mail.
I don”t know about you, but we were paying 25 cents a gallon for gas and there were far fewer people. Now we are paying anywhere from $1.80 to $5.00 for that same gas. Wake up; our postage is still the cheapest, with the best service in the world.
