I”m feeling sorry for our California Legislators. They have had to stay up late at night to work on doing their job; that of solving the State”s budget crisis. They have not been able to do this job for a long, long time, and I”m feeling very sorry for them.
A Special Session has been necessary to attract their attention, and according to a KCRA 3 News report, “Meanwhile, California”s credit rating has tanked, making it nearly impossible for the state to borrow money to pay its day-to-day bills.”
That makes me ask, do most citizens borrow money to pay their day-to-day bills? How do you manage your family budget; by routinely spending more money than you have by borrowing, which when paid back with interest causes the price you pay for everything to go higher? Doubtful. You either work harder so you earn more to spend, control your spending, or a combination of the two.
If our Representatives can”t manage our budget, we voters should elect those who can.
