ST. HELENA — The Clear Lake Cardinals rallied from a 20-point deficit in the third quarter but couldn”t quite catch the St. Helena Saints, 46-42, in a North Central League I South junior varsity girls” basketball game on Tuesday in St. Helena.
It was the season finale for both teams.
Vanessa Tullos led the Cardinals with 22 points and Briana Campbell added five.
“We played hard, the girls did good,” Clear Lake Kory Reyn-olds said.
Clear Lake concludes the season 2-6 in league and 8-17 overall.
