UPDATED:

Monday, when it was raining, my husband and I traveled from Kelseyville to Piedmont Lumber in Lakeport; about a 10 to 13-minute drive.

We counted 28 vehicles without lights or with only parking lights on.

Now, correct me if I am wrong, but isn”t there a law that says that if you need to use your car”s wipers that the lights need to be on?

If this is true, why doesn”t the highway patrol sit on the side of the road and flag the drivers over that don”t have lights on?

I don”t know what the fine is but let”s say it is $30. That $30 times 28 vehicles is $840. I see easy money for California”s deficit, on rainy days.

Also, I see a lot of cell phones being used by drivers. This, too, is a new law in effect, right? More revenue.
