CLEARLAKE ? The Clearlake City Council authorized $25,000 in administrative penalties on a total 10 properties for failures to abate. The action was taken during the council”s regular meeting on Thursday.

The $2,500, which is the maximum penalty, was levied against the following properties:

?16481 20th Avenue, APN No. 042-287-110, owner Timothy Tirre.

?14820 Laguna Vista Way, APN No. 039-291-270, owner Robert Cole.

?14830 Laguna Vista Way, APN No. 039-291-280, owner Robert Cole.

?3360 7th Street, APN No. 038-291-180, owner Western Network Solutions.

?2890 7th Street, APN No. 038-171-110, owner Judith Goff.

?3870 Manchester Avenue, APN No. 040-133-220, owners Frank Jr. and Shirley Thoza.

?3683 Thomas Avenue, APN No. 040-062-060, owners Brian and Amber Gates.

?3371 9th Street, APN No. 038-232-550, owner Roland Herbst.

?14950 Clement Drive, APN No. 040-303-160, owner Arthur Keller Trustee.

?14970 Clement Drive, APN No. 040-303-140, owner Arthur Keller Trustee.

According to Code Enforcement Officer Lee Lambert”s staff report, property owners were given notice of the violations and adequate time to voluntarily correct the violations. The property owners failed to abate the public nuisances within the prescribed time.

The property owners were also given notice that they had a right to appeal the imposition of administrative penalties in accordance with section 1-9.7 of the Clearlake Municipal Code “Administrative Appeal.”

Property owners reportedly failed to submit a written notice of appeal within the time allotted in accordance with the Municipal Code.
