MIDDLETOWN — St. Vincent handed Middletown a 14-5 loss in non-league junior varsity baseball action on Friday in Middletown.
Bryan Holt went 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs for the Mustangs (2-1) and Eric Schenck and Austin Hunter also had two hits apiece.
Losing pitcher Saul Preciado worked the first 4 2/3 innings, striking out four and walking three. Holt relieved and went the final 2 1/3 innings, striking out three and walking one.
Middletown is home today to play Tomales at 4 p.m.
