ST. HELENA — Kelseyville High School opened its Coastal Mountain Conference tennis schedule with a 5-0 win over the St. Helena Saints on Thursday in St. Helena.

The Knights hardly broke a sweat in the five matches, winning all in straight sets.

Stuart Davy prevailed 6-3, 6-1 in first singles, Moses Kuzu posted a 6-3, 6-0 win in second singles, and Luke Kriken won 6-2, 6-0 in third singles.

In doubles action, David Ferrario and Andor Benyei were 6-0, 6-1 winners in No. 1 doubles, and Glenn Mostin and Alex Stempe were 6-0, 6-0 winners in No. 2 doubles.

The Knights return to action Tuesday at home against St. Helena, the first of three conference matches for Kelseyville next week. They also play Thursday at Cloverdale and Friday at Clear Lake.
