At this time, the Lakeport Special District is asking for possible mandatory water usage restrictions. Since properties have been developed in my neighborhood my orchard has had standing water in it which can be easily routed to a drainage that leads into the lake. I am willing to conserve if the board of supervisors, public works and flood control wants to get out of the horse and buggy days.
