CLOVERDALE — Winning four of the five matches in straight sets, the Kelseyville High School tennis team rolled past a young and rebuilding Cloverdale squad 4-1 in Coastal Mountain Conference tennis action on Thursday in Cloverdale.
The victory elevates Kelseyville to 5-0 on the season.
Winners for the Knights were Stuart Davy, 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 over Fred Westenburg in first singles; Moses Kuzu, 6-0, 6-2 over Cody Trettin in second singles; Andor Benyei and Steven McQueen, 6-0, 6-1 over Joe Wells and Sal Mendoza in No. 1 doubles; and Glenn Mostin and Alex Stempe, 6-1, 6-0 over Jesus Cardenas and Steven Abba in No. 2 doubles.
Cloverdale”s win came in third singles as Alex Rousseau beat Robbie Jones 6-2, 7-5.
The Knights play at Clear Lake today.
