ST. HELENA — That”s two straight wins for the Clear Lake High School tennis team after its 4-1 Coastal Mountain Conference victory on Wednesday in St. Helena.
The Cardinals picked up wins in two of the three singles matches and swept the doubles portion of the match.
Nate Seacrest beat Kyle Jimenez 6-1, 7-5 in second singles and Hayden Gilbert, moving up from doubles, beat Kelsie Fetzer 7-5, 6-2 in third singles.
Luke Walter of St. Helena beat KC White 6-1, 6-4 in first singles.
In doubles play, Tony Valdez and Humberto Perez were 6-2, 6-1 winners in No. 1 doubles, and Claire Mansell and Darcy McCarrick were 6-0, 6-1 winners in No. 2 doubles.
Jeffery Mulligan of Clear Lake won 6-0, 6-1 in exhibition singles.
