By Pete Gascoigne ?Letters to the editor
In response to Herb Gura”s many letters regarding Provinsalia; in the future we would be better served if Herb would get his facts straight.
In his previous letters he made three assertions that I disagree with. First, he stated the City of Clearlake would not have the money to maintain the streets in Provinsalia (that may be true). What he failed to say is that Provinsalia roads will be maintained through the homeowners association, not the city. Second, he stated the developer”s attorney was seated at the staff”s desk. The city”s attorney occupied that seat. Third, he said two council members were not present. Only Overton was absent.
Herb does not reside in Clearlake but he does have the right to voice his opinion. However, he needs to support his opinion with facts.
