Considering the fact that some parts of Northern California are facing an extreme drought this season and that the County of Lake recently mailed a letter to residents urging us not to waste water, I would like to suggest that the restaurants in the county stop serving glasses of water as soon as you sit down and instead ask the patron if they would like water. Every little bit helps and we need all the help we can get this season. Actually, if everyone does as much as we can to save water, we may just make it through this summer without mandatory cut backs!
