LAKEPORT — Jeremy Hopkins set a new track record in the Airport Auto Brokers Late Models division and Robbie Czub broke the record in the Legends Cars class on Saturday at the Lakeport Speedway.
It was the season opener at Lakeport and the second in a series of races in the King of the Hill Challenge Series, which is contested at the Lakeport and Ukiah speedways.
Hopkins” time was 11.781 seconds and Czub”s time was 13.527 seconds.
Main event winners were Kevin Ostern (Late Models), Czub (Legends Cars), Roman Rose (bombers) and James Stillman (Bandoleros).
