Museum fashion show cancelled
LOWER LAKE — The Lower Lake Historical School Preservation Committee regrets to inform the public that the annual fashion show that was to be held Saturday, April 18, is now canceled due to unforeseen circumstances and museum construction. Please call 995-3565 for more information.
Adele Pruitt class at Main Street Gallery
LAKEPORT — Artist, restorationist and teacher Adele Pruitt returns to the Main Street Gallery at 325 N. Main Street in Lakeport to conduct a seascape painting workshop. This three-day workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, April 19, 20 and 21, at the Lake County Arts Council”s Main Street Gallery, 325 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
Pruitt will encourage you to see the movement of the water, the crash of waves and the action of the sea and how light and water interplay with each other in a painting.

Children”s Art Festival at Library Park
LAKEPORT — Early Connections Preschool in Lakeport, along with several other early childhood education programs, is hosting a children” art festival, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Library Park in Lakeport.
The event will feature children”s artwork, art auction, music by John Carter and lots of hands-on art activities and fun for the whole family.
