LAKEPORT — It was a great day for racing Sunday as the Outlaw Karts maintained their cool in the soaring temperatures at Delberts Memorial Raceway in Lakeport.
Dominating the beginner box stock division was Colby Furia, who finished first in the main event, heat race and trophy dash. He completed a clean sweep by posting the fast qualifying time.
Michael Kofoid, last year”s beginner box stock champion, is looking good so far this year in the box stock division, where he posted main event win on Sunday.
Rico Abreu took the checkered flag to win the 125-250 class.
The 500 main event was a close race between Marty Hawkins and Kayla Mincey. Hawkins was able to maintain his lead and take the win.
