KPFZ on-air membership drive
LAKE COUNTY — KPFZ 88.1 FM is having its first on-air fundraising event all day Saturday, April 25. Many KPFZ programmers will ask listeners to become members of the station. To become a member, call the KPFZ office at at 263-3640 or call and join on the air during the April 25 fundraiser at 263-3435.
Dr. Temple Grandin
Earth Wise host Chloe Karl talks with Dr. Temple Grandin and Cynthia Parkhill about autism spectrum disorders (ASDs), 1 p.m. Friday, May 1, on KPFZ 88.1 FM. The interview will address Dr. Grandin”s opinion that all children and adults — whether or not they have ASDs — should be taught social functioning skills and be expected to learn and use them.
