Kudos to guest commentator Deb Baumann on all accounts, especially about capitalizing on our uniqueness as a county and holding onto it at all costs. Fight generica, U.S.A. the whole way. We have held onto this pristine land for so long, let”s not sell out now, right when the time is ripe for us to become the “Tuscany of the West Coast.”
Deb, I have lived here for 20 years and am blessed and I find myself using the same terminology as you, Wow! WOW! and WOWWW! to describe Lake County. A golden eagle soaring over Mount Konocti, a pair of peregrine falcons flying through the ancient oaks in my own neighborhood or a thousand other truly beautiful events taking place simultaneously across this sacred land. Wow!
At first I thought Deb Baumann would make a good lead supervisor for the County of Lake, then I read about her being a Cowboy Mounted Shooting champion and decided Governor of California more fitting, then I thought no, let”s keep her right here as Governor of Lake County. You have my vote!
