LOWER LAKE — The Bell pretty much tolled for everyone who wasn”t Michael Bell on Wednesday during a Coastal Mountain Conference track meet at Lower Lake High School.

Bell, a Lower Lake High School junior, won three events during the five-team meet. Also competing were Kelseyville, St. Helena, Cloverdale and Laytonville high schools.

“He ran a great 400,” Lower Lake coach Andrew Carpenter said of Bell”s performance in the 400-meter run, which he won in 53.59 seconds on the dirt surface at Lower Lake. “He flew around the track.”

Bell also posted wins in the 200 (23.69) and 300 hurdles (43.02).

Kelseyville”s Mike Allen picked up firsts in the long lump, clearing 18 feet, 8 ? inches, and the triple jump (37-2).

Jessie Lee of Cloverdale won the 1,600 in 5 minutes, 8.4 seconds and the 3,200 in 11:33.4.

Varsity girls

Kelseyville won three events in the varsity girls” division. Amanda Horne topped the field in the 100 (13.43), Chelsea DeJohn was first in the triple jump (30-1/2), and Maille McCallister won the 1,600 (6:30.9).

Lower Lake”s Jonesha Beasley finished first in the 200 (28.54).

Maria Dilley of Cloverdale pulled down firsts in the 100 (18.98), 300 hurdles (52.8) and long jump (14-1 ?).

JV boys

Zack Bloom of Cloverdale won the 110 hurdles (18.94) and the 300 hurdles (53:38) as the Eagles dominated the JV boys” division.
