LAKEPORT — Got any really snazzy pajamas? Ever been to a pajama party? Well, now”s your chance to appear in public wearing your finest, fleeciest flannels, your comfiest colorful cottons, or your softest slinky silks when you attend the opening night performance of “Pajama Game” at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 7, in the Little Theatre Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds.
Prizes in various categories will be awarded to audience members sporting the best sleepwear, and what could be more comfortable and cozy than watching a show in your “jammies”?
“Pajama Game” is a show well-worth seeing. Written by George Abbott and Richard Bissell with music and lyrics by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, “Pajama Game” features dancing, singing, romance, comedy, drama and plenty of lively discourse performed by a very talented cast, many of whom have starred in previous theater productions here in Lake County.
Tickets are now available for purchase at Catfish Books, Lakeport, 263-4454; Wild About Books, Clearlake, 994-9453; and Shannon Ridge Tasting Room, Clearlake Oaks, 998-9656. Evening performances will be held May 7, 8, 14, 15 and 16, starting at 7 p.m. Matinee performances will be held at 2 p.m. on May 10, 16 and 17. All performances will be at the Lake County Fairgrounds” Little Theatre Building.
“Pajama Game” has been in rehearsal since the end of January and cast and crew are really ready to party on opening night, so dig out those pajamas, spruce ”em up, be part of the fun and let us entertain you !
