Regarding the guest commentary April 29 “Who was Ayn Rand?,” the author made the point very well that idealistic Ayn Rand and utopian (communism) philosophies fail in the real world. We need more pragmatism and less polarization, lest we all sink into endless partisan bickering and egotistical posturing at the expense of solving the problems we face. Thanks to Lowell Grant for the excellent commentary and thanks to the Record-Bee for printing it.
