KELSEYVILLE ? A rollover crash at the junction of Highway 29 and Highway 175 Cobb slowed traffic to one lane for approximately 20 minutes Thursday afternoon.

The driver, Clearlake resident Beverly Gonzalves, 68, was taken by a Kelseyville Fire ambulance to Sutter Lakeside Hospital with minor injuries after rolling her car for unknown reasons, according to California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer Jake Bushey. Gonzalves was driving a red, four-door 1992 Toyota south on Highway 29 when the accident occurred at 3:15 p.m.

“One of the witnesses said that she went off onto the right shoulder into the dirt, and then the car jerked back into the lane, spun around, slid off backwards and rolled once,” Bushey said.

Bushey said the reason for the crash was Gonzalves” unsafe turning movement. He said Gonzalves didn”t remember what happened, only that she was going home from Kelseyville. He said no drugs or alcohol were involved.
