NOVATO — Alex Garcia and Adrian Arroyo of the Lake County Wrestling Club came away with first-place medals during a tournament on April 25 at Novato High School in Novato.
Garcia, undefeated on the season in folkstyle competition, won the age 7-8 bracket. Arroyo won the 9-10 bracket and teammate Luis Lopez came in second.
Brandyn Jensen brought home seconds in both freestyle and folkstyle in the 11-12 bracket, and Brandon Garcia finished second in the 5-6 bracket after dropping an 18-17 decision in the championship match.
