LAKE COUNTY ? Drivers in two separate crashes on Thursday and Friday suffered minor injuries, according to information from the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Kelseyville resident Michael Daily, 39, struck a utility pole on Highland Springs Road at Rodello Road in his truck at approximately 11:55 p.m. Thursday, according to CHP officer Steven Tanguay.

Daily walked away from the accident and was questioned about it the following evening at the Lake County Jail, where he was detained on other charges, according to Tanguay. CHP officer Steve Curtis is investigating the incident.

On Friday, Lakeport resident Teresa Jenkins, 43, rolled her car on Highway 20 near Walker Ridge Road. Tanguay said it was raining and the road was wet at the time of the crash. He said the cause of the accident was unsafe speed for the conditions.

Tanguay said an ambulance from the Clearlake Oaks station of the Northshore Fire Protection District took Jenkins to Sutter Lakeside hospital because she complained of pain. CHP officer Joe Wind is investigating the incident.
