ST. HELENA — Clear Lake High School track star Anisa Green won three events on Saturday during the Coastal Mountain Conference Track Championships at St. Helena High School.
Green posted firsts in the 100-meter dash (13.1 seconds), the long jump (17 feet, 1/2 inch) and the triple jump (35-0). She is eligible to compete in all three events this coming Saturday at the North Coast Section Class A Championships at Montgomery High School in Santa Rosa.
Emily Beckwith of Middletown added a first in the 100 hurdles (17.6), a third in the long jump (33-1 1/2), and she ran a leg on the Mustangs” second-place 4×100 relay (55.2), which also included Amber Preusser, Alexis Rockwell and Amber Ramponi.
Also for Middletown, Preusser finished third in the 200 (28.8), Kelsey Welton added a second in the 300 hurdles (51.8) and a third in the triple jump (33-1 1/2), and Alexis Valdovinos was third in the high jump (4-8).
Middletown”s 4×400 relay team of Preusser, Rockwell, Amber Hart and Laura Hart came in second at 4 minutes, 34.2 seconds.
For Upper Lake, Marina Sharp placed second in the high jump (4-8) and Ashley Burns was third in the 3,200 (14:59.6).
Boys
Jake Clouse of Mid-dletown was Lake County”s only double-event winner, taking firsts in the 200 (22.9) and 400 (51.1). He also ran legs in the 4×100 and 4×400 relays, helping the Mustangs win the 4×100 in 44.8. Also running legs were Theo Drew, Trevor Finley and Myles Moffat.
The 4×400 team of Clouse, Finley, Jason Hill and Russell Rosenthal came in second in 3:42.7.
Middletown picked up another first in the discus where Nick Valdovinos easily won with a toss of 132-11, beating teammate Jason Hill, who was second at 117-7.
Moffat added a second in the triple jump (40-8 1/2).
Clear Lake”s Seth Glazier came away with a first and a third, winning the 100 in 11.1 and taking third in the triple jump (40-8).
Lower Lake”s Michael Bell was second in the 400 (52.1) and 300 hurdles (41.4).
Middletown”s Finley came in third in the 200 (23.6) and teammate Mark Gonzalez finished third in the 110 hurdles (16.4).
Kelseyville”s Jonathon Barrientes was the runner-up in the 800 (2:10.8).
