Themed photography show at the Main Street Gallery
LAKEPORT — For the next in its series of theme shows, the Lake County Arts Council”s Main Street Gallery is accepting photography in three categories: film, digital or in film and digital combined.
Guidelines are available at the Main Street Gallery in Lakeport, during regular business hours, by calling the gallery at 263-6658 or by e-mailing a request to Ray Farrow, show coordinator, at melvin5674@sbcglobal.net.
Judging will take place in June and the show will be mounted for exhibition in the month of July in the Linda Carpenter Gallery section of the Main Street Gallery.
Cobbstock Music Festival at historic Glenbrook
COBB — The third annual Cobbstock Music Festival takes place from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the historic stage stop Glenbrook. Tickets are $15 at the gate. For more information, call 928-9878.
Friends of the M”town Library hosts semi-annual book sale
MIDDLETOWN — Friends of the Middletown Library are having its semi-annual book fair, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, on the front lawn of the Middletown Library, located on the corner of Calistoga and Callayomi streets in downtown Middletown.
Books will be sold by the bag for $5 per bag. Some selected quality books will be sold individually. Profits from the sale will go to purchase new books and supplies for the library and for the new library building fund.
Books for sale include best sellers, children”s, mysteries, spy intrigue, romance, cookbooks, self help, reference, audio tapes and CDs ? and some surprise offerings.
PACK hosts performing arts extravaganza
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Parents and Community for Kids (PACK) Community Arts Academy hosts its performing arts extravaganza, 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. June 27, at Coyote Valley Elementary School outside Hidden Valley Lake.
