LAKEPORT — The Main Street Gallery”s First Friday Fling”s reception for the artists, 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 5, will feature the art work of six new artists.

Talented in many mediums, Pat Courtney will show watercolor paintings; while, Bobbi Bridges will also display prints of her fine work in watercolor. Terry Durnil”s landscapes beautifully executed in pastels are bright and refreshing. John Eells”s abstract canvases in acrylics will delight the eye and stir your mind. Carolyn Morris and Meredith Gambrel will present their distinctive styles in oil, and look for the whimsical and decorative pieces by Ruth Morgan.

Continuing in the June show is a display of Floyd Surber”s well crafted turquoise jewelry, and various work by Ann White of Andrew Art. Always continuing to amuse us is the metal found art work of Tom McComber. Charity Ingram and Jeff Tangen show their ability to catch the moment with their work in photography. John Galbraith”s fine charcoal drawings, and Sara Tichaava”s delightful and detailed work in mixed media round out this versatile show.

The Linda Carpenter Gallery will show the work of students of Pat Hopper. These students will pleasantly surprise you as they display their growing talent in various mediums.

Please join us for this evening of art, meet the featured artists and sample the award winning wines of Shannon Ridge. Joey Luiz will be pouring for Shannon Ridge and is a fountain of information regarding the wines and the wine industry. Michael Barrish and Scott Sommer will entertain during the evening with original arrangements on guitar, mandolin and percussion. While in the Gallery, do check out the one of a kind items in our gift shop.
