LAKE COUNTY ? The Lake County Supervisors Tuesday approved a contract to provide residential treatment services for women experiencing alcohol and drug addiction.
The board approved an $11,743 contract with Women”s Recovery Services of Santa Rosa for the 2009-10 fiscal year.
“We presented this contract in the small amount of $11,743 because we have a woman with children at the Women”s Recovery Services right now, and she hasn”t completed her treatment services yet, and we didn”t want to pull her on June 30. So we put the contract amount in for enough to complete her services,” Lake County Alcohol and Other Drugs Services Administrator Laura Solis said.
Solis said she wanted to keep the woman”s treatment stable while the state continues its budget discussions.
“I haven”t put any contracts in yet because we don”t know what our funding is going to be until after this week for residential treatment,” Solis said.
Solis said the money could come out of federal money for discretionary spending or dependency drug court funding.
