Is the county serious about quaggas?

Just how seriously are the board of supervisors and lake management taking the quagga mussel situation when the county”s own public launch ramp at Lakeshore Boulevard and Crystal Lake Boulevard doesn”t have even one sign noting the requirement for boat stickers and inspections. While the sheriff”s good intentions are noted, it is going to be tough to make it stick without ample notification to the public. Really ? can”t we do better than this? Lots of meetings, little effective action.
