KELSEYVILLE – The annual Sonoma State/Kelseyville High School Volleyball Camp is July 15-18 at the Kelseyville High School gym.
Camp A is designed for players entering the sixth through eighth grades in the fall. Camp hours are 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on July 15-17. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m. The cost is $95.
Camp B is designed for players entering the ninth through 12th grades in the fall. Camp hours are 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on July 15-17. Check-in time is 1 p.m. The cost is $95.
July 18 is a bonus day for all campers, who will play matches.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. The first 24 athletes in each group will be accepted. There will be registration at the door the first day of camp provided room is still available.
Players need to bring broken-in court shoes, shorts and kneepads. Water is provided.
The camp staff will teach overhand and underhand passing, spiking, blocking, serving, individual and team offensive formations, and individual and team defensive formations.
Sonoma State women”s volleyball head coach Bear Grassl and the Kelseyville High School coaching staff lead the camps.
