LAKE COUNTY ? According to public information officer Captain Rob Howe of Lake County Sheriff”s Office (LCSO), on Saturday at approximately 12:55 a.m. a Lake County Sheriff”s Deputy heard what he believed to be a fight occurring behind Nobles Bar in Middletown.
The Deputy followed one of the involved parties into the bar.
Upon returning to the parking lot, the Deputy found that his Sheriff”s Department patrol vehicle had been stolen.
Approximately 10 minutes later, the Deputy located the vehicle parked behind the Hardester”s Market in Middletown.
The patrol vehicle”s key and the Deputy”s personal cell phone were missing.
The vehicle”s Mobile Audio Visual (MAV) Unit captured video of the subject believed to have stolen the vehicle.
The suspect is still outstanding at this time.
