KELSEYVILLE — Nicole Hohenstein of Pleasant Hill won the girls” 16 singles title and Moses Kuzu of Kelseyville won the boys” 16 singles title on Monday during the Konocti Junior Challenger USTA Tournament in Kelseyville.

Hohenstein beat Samantha Nady of Piedmont 6-2, 6-0 in the girls” singles finals.

In the semifinals, it was Hohenstein beating Megan Schneider of Willits 6-1, 6-2 and Nady defeating Analise Ravella 6-4, 6-1.

Schneider beat Ravella 14-12 in a 10-point tiebreaker to win the consolation title.

In boys” action, Kuzu knocked off Blair Winacott of Arcata 6-0, 6-2 in the finals.

In the boys” 18 division, the title went to Charlie Wyatt of Granite Bay, a 6-1, 6-4 winner over Daniel Simonds of Santa Rosa.

In the semifinals, Wyatt beat Brendan Winacott 6-3, 7-5 and Simonds topped Anthony Ravella 6-3, 7-5.
