I, for one, like the majority of Lake County residents, greatly appreciate District Attorney Jon Hopkins and the consistently fine job he is doing. He is a consummate professional who objectively applies the law and considers the factual evidence of a case. We are fortunate to have such a man and his able staff representing us. Some few individuals continue their emotional response to a current case, soon to be before the court, by showing their ignorance ? facts, not opinions, matter in this criminal case as in all others. Every case should and will be tried in court, not in the media.
