HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE — Tom Gibbs scored his first career hole-in-one on July 3 while playing in a foursome during the Twilight Golf Tournament at Hidden Valley Lake Golf Course.
Playing the white tees, Gibb aced the 160-yard par-3 eighth hole with a 23-degree hybrid club.
“It hit the green and kicked right and rolled in,” Gibbs said of the Titleist Pro V1 ball he was playing. “I couldn”t believe it.”
Witnessing the hole-in-one were members of Gibbs” foursome ? wife Peggy as well as friends Bob and Liz Cummesky.
