Your legislators will be returning to their home districts in the month of August. When they return to Washington in September, they will be addressing the massive Health Care Reform Bill. Our legislators voted for the Stimulus Bill without reading it. Let”s hope they put a little more effort in this time.
While they are here at home, give them a call, write them a letter, you might actually get a response as they are all up for re-election next year! It is said that a one-page, handwritten letter is most likely to get a response. Ask them if they have read the Health Care Reform Bill. I am going to.
Our representative, Mike Thompson, claims to be one of the fiscally conservative Blue Dog Democrats. He, however, is in favor of this massive, expensive and uncertain health reform bill. I would like to know, would he give up his health insurance plan and join the one he is willing to
vote in for us?
