LAKEPORT — Cheer Camp Cardinal opens Monday and runs through Aug. 20 at the Clear Lake High School gym in Lakeport.
The youth cheerleading camp is open to boys and girls between the ages of 5-12 and camp hours are 9 a.m. to noon each of the four days of the camp. The sign-up fee is $60 and includes a T-shirt, shaker poms, camp picture, prizes and snacks.
Clear Lake High School cheerleaders will teach the basic techniques of cheerleading routines. Campers will perform a routine during the Cardinals” first home game next month at Don Owens Stadium.
Entry forms are available at several Lake County businesses, including the Record-Bee office in Lakeport.
