I read the letter in the Record-Bee from the Velasquez family in Lucerne. All I can say is, “Right On!” The points they make to reform our existing health care are excellent. It is unfortunate that our representatives are not willing to debate this issue and consider some of these options.
I contacted Mike Thompson”s office today to see if a town hall meeting is scheduled for Lake County. His secretary said nothing is planned at this time. It wouldn”t hurt to give the office a call, ask them, as I did, if something can be arranged. With enough calls, we might get our voices heard.
Isn”t it sad that we have to make the effort? Shouldn”t our congressman want to hear our voice?
