I, Mel Holden, have sent a letter in the past concerning the boat accident on April 29, 2006, involving Bismarck Dinius and Capt. Russell Perdock.

I would like to make a suggestion to the jurors on this case. If they would go out on a speedboat exactly like officer Perdock”s and stand in the back where the steering wheel is, go the speed of 60 mph and look at the front of the boat, the bow will be up and they will not be able to see anything in front of them. There is no way officer Perdock could see the boat.

I am ashamed of our police department and the police officers on the scene that night. It seems to me they are sticking up for their own kind and not the rest of the good people who pay their wages.
