Isn”t it interesting that the health industry is telling the public that they will do a better job giving this nation better health coverage at a cheaper rate, without our government getting involved in offering a one-payer plan, yet not one of them has changed any part of the present programs they offer. They could show their intent by changing things right now, but no, they waited for our government to force them to do so, in hopes that their lobbyists and advertising will help water down any cuts to their profits.
If the public lets their fears, encouraged by the health industry, to influence those weak-kneed representatives of both parties to allow for the lowering of a fair and just bill being passed, then they have no one to blame for the rising cost of health care in this country. Wait, is that your phone ringing, your heath insurance company must be calling to lower your rates and offer more coverage. Yeah, right.
